I have not been able to post new blogs of recent for two reasons. One is that introducing my new Book “Take Over Control: Without Physical Violence in Benin City (Nigeria) has attracted very wide response - stirring up opposition. The other reason is that I am to contribute to an International Conference holding at the University of Benin, (Nigeria) in June 2009. I have been busy researching for this.
Researching for this lecture brought me face to face with African racists who think that I was raising issues relating to slavery that should rather be kept secret. The issues are that there was slavery in Africa before international slave trade across the Atlantic and Sahara desert. Slavery persists until the present.
The part that hurt them most is that I pointed out what we Benin ethnic group have in my mother tongue, the concept of AYI who created everything, including God of Christianity and Osanobua. (Osanobua is on the internet)
I shall be writing about the issues. Watch out for it.
