Definitions
Summary: Ebo is the name of an aspect of the universe which is a MEDIUM. Ebo as medium is the vehicle for the transmission of the secrets or mysteries of the world and universe, which the FOUNDERS of the world bequeath humankind. It is the substance through which our expectations, decrees, and thoughts are transmitted and controlled so that that which is conceived and expressed will lead to manifest of events conceived. Ebo is by definition the medium of change and bearer of will or intentions to fruition. It is also the name of an artifact that acts as means in spiritual warfare. Ebo can be in human form; thought by such an adept is Ebo in thought form, his expression is verbalized Ebo; events will always manifestation as direct consequence of either thought or expression.
Details: Ebo is the agency, channel, or instrument and means that bear to fruition, our thoughts, prayers, decrees, or expressions of the will in whatever form. Ebo may be present through different forms including physical objects. The physical medium could be artifacts, bones, or animals including human animal. Ebo could be in spiritual form that is invisible. Ebo could be in the form of entities. Ebo could be formless or imaginary. Ebo could be in the form of elements such as whirl wind or hurricanes, be present in the fire of volcanoes, the lightning (not the sound) that accompanies thunder, etc. Ebo could be through Ruaobi (chants and so-called names of God, mantra, etc.) Ebo is not limited by matter, space, or time. It is eternal and boundless.
Ebo in some form is the essence of the spiritual resources of each person; it is stored in the bones. The Ebo of the body is not in glands, in the psyche, in the skin, flesh, or blood; rather it is in the bones. Whatever one wills would be fulfilled through the instrumentality of Ebo URIGB’OGBAN. That the Ebo of the person can stream freely is the sine qua non. The mystery of this is revealed to those who sight AFANGIAKO — the stream of lightning-like light of (AFANGIAKO, of the "sun" that sustains the psyche.) Therefore apply yourself to develop and grow into the stream that is AFANGIAKO. (See Also Ebo )
The word EBO (as virtually all the African words in these Teachings) is from Benin language spoken by the EDO people of southern Nigeira. May I remind the reader that EDO is in AFRICA SOUTH of the Sahara. This point is important, because the differences between peoples (culture, traditions, rituals, cosmology, prophecies, etc.) of Africa NORTH of the Sahara on one hand, and AFRICA SOUTH of the Sahara on the other hand are fundamental and should not be thought of as one.
Examples of Ebo-artefacts include the “Ark of the covenant”, staves (as of Runes), rods, staffs as of Prophets, staffs of Bishops, masks of secret societies, the wax images that Alexander the Great (a protégée of Socrates) planted around Alexandra to protect it, and on which he relied to win his wars. (E. A. Wallis Budge, Egyptian Magic). Ogun (not same as OGUN) who became Oba Ewuare the Great of Ancient Benin Empire (W. Africa) deployed Ebo to regain his throne from an usurper, and to secure the kingdom later against adversaries. Our versions of Ebo-artefact include the LiveAxe, herbal Ebo-soap, the rod, etc. Ebo can be formless or be in human form.
Every creator needs a medium or agents to bear his/her decrees to fruition. The agent supervises, governs, and ensures the fruition of the decree. That medium or agent universally is what we call Ebo (which may include artefacts). See also AFANGIAKO
Praying and prayers without Ebo yields nothing other than disappointment, frustrations, and hopelessness. The link between Transcendental Ancestry (as represented by our Archetypal Ancestors) is a secret that we reveal in the eSchool.
Ebo that are in artefacts and our bones are powers, non-material, or entities that inheres (e.g.in the LiveAxe, the Oboiro's Flint, etc.). The final battle for every mortal marks the threshold leading out of this universe at the throes of death. Life before then is a series of preparatory battles or rehearsals. One creates in the process, weapons, and entities. We call these Ebo in my mother tongue. There is the Ebo of the fire of the flint, Ebo of our bones, and Ebo objects among others.
Everybody incorporates Ebo in one form or the other in every foundation (for buildings and life). Ebo can include amulets, talismans, voodoo objects, juju, magicians’ wands, etc. The human person could also become an Ebo-person.
The roles of Ebo include the roles that angels fulfil for God, chiefs and slaves fulfil for “divine kings”; war cabinets in conjunction with armed forces, and parliament fulfil the same roll in secular Governments. (See also Ebo)
