Ebo (prononced with the 'e' as in 'effect')
Summary: Ebo is the name of an aspect of the universe which is a MEDIUM. Ebo as medium is the vehicle for the transmission of the secrets or mysteries of the world and universe, which the FOUNDERS of the world bequeath humankind. It is the substance through which our expectations, decrees, and thoughts are transmitted and controlled so that that which is conceived and expressed will lead to manifest of events conceived. Ebo is by definition the medium of change and bearer of will or intentions to fruition. It is also the name of an artifact that acts as means in spiritual warfare. Ebo can be in human form; thought by such an adept is Ebo in thought form, his expression is verbalized Ebo; events will always manifestation as direct consequence of either thought or expression.
Details: The supernatural force is called Ebo in Edo (Benin to outsiders). Ebo is the agency, channel, instrument, and means that bears to fruition that which a being such as a person wills. Ebo is the essence of the spiritual resources in each person’s consciousness, thought, behavior, and will.
Ancient Africans acknowledged that, “Whatever one wills would be fulfilled through the instrumentality of Ebo (URIGB’OGBAN)” (under appropriate conditions).
Ebo manifests as a consequence of the thought and will of man/woman, namely Homo sapiens. In other words, the supernatural force emanates according to the consciousness, thought, and will of every human being. The universe works in this way, because of the Ebo of (NOT in) their bones and personalities. Personalities organize the universe through Ebo. Ebo is the core of what distinguishes the living and the dead. The living create, the dead do not. The commonest form in which Ebo is stored outside the body is in artifacts.  So-called “holy” words, names of God, or Ruaobi are formless Ebo
Ancient peoples and modern peoples with otherwise very diverse cultures rely on Ebo-artifacts. Examples of Ebo-artifacts in History include the “Ark of the covenant” (re Israelites), staves (as of Teutonic Runes), rods, staffs as of Prophets, staffs of Bishops, masks of secret societies, amulets (as buried with Egyptian mummies) etc. Benin Kingdom (whose headquarters is Benin City in Nigeria) once traversed West Africa to the observation of pioneer explorers who named West Africa after it, as the Bight of Benin. They had defeated Muslim armies, rebuffing advancement of Islam. (This was before the corrosion of slave trade which led to the territory being renamed Slave Coast! The Edo (Edolites?) (Benin to strangers) achieved this due to their wisdom about Ebo in general.
Versions of Ebo-artifacts available at Faboul Cownic Worldwide, (FCW) include the LiveAxe, herbal Ebo-soap, the rod, etc. Ebo is formless and can be stored in objects or in human form.
Everybody incorporates Ebo in one form or the other in every foundation (for buildings and life).  Ebo can include amulets, talismans, voodoo objects, juju, magicians’ wands, potent chants, etc. The human person could also become an Ebo-person
The roles of Ebo include the roles that angels fulfil for God, chiefs and slaves fulfil for “divine kings”; war cabinets in conjunction with armed forces, and parliament fulfil the same roll in secular Governments.  (See also Ebo
